Description

D1 Mini ESP32 WiFi + Bluetooth

The D1 Mini ESP32 WiFi + Bluetooth can be described as a further development (successor) of the Wemos D1 Mini ESP8266. The board features WiFi, Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE as well as more IO pins and improved analog inputs. The ESP32 can be programmed under Arduino and MicroPython. The D1 Mini ESP32 is more recommended for advanced users as it is not yet supported by all Arduino libraries.
The D1 Mini ESP32 is compatible with the Arduino IDE, Lua and MicroPython and NodeMCU.
Since the quiescent current of the ESP32 chip is less than 5 μA, it is particularly well suited for use with batteries or rechargeable batteries. The ESP32 D1 Mini has a similar pin layout to the traditional D1 Mini ESP8266, making it pin compatible with most of its accessories.
