This AMS1117 5V power supply module is designed based on the AMS1117 5V regulator. This power supply module is capable of regulating input voltage at a range of 6.5 to 12V down to a fixed 5V output at up to 1A (Vin = 6.5V). This module comes with Standard 0.1″ header pins. Hence ensuring the easy connection between its input and output terminals. Meanwhile, these header pins are conveniently placed. So that the module can be inserted face down into standard. AMS1117 5V power supply module based on the dual-panel design with single row pin input and output for easy connection. In addition, the specially designed two rows of needle fixing holes can be fixed directly in the tunnel for the board to extend the experiment.
The adjustable and fixed voltage regulators of the AMS1117 series are designed to generate 1A output current. Also, the input-to-output difference can be as low as 1V. The PC material in this power supply module may be particularly effective at transporting heat between the pad area. As a result, a ground plane layer is linked to the device’s pad, and a ground plane layer is either inside or on the opposite side of the board.
The AMS1117 5V voltage regulator modules are rated for a maximum output current of 800mA. It is, however, a linear regulator rather than a switching converter. The module has the ability to dissipate a lot of heat. If it is required to manage a larger current with a huge voltage drop, it will be unable to do so (difference from Input Voltage to Output Voltage). Furthermore, the module will not be able to produce the whole 800mA. When the voltage difference between the input and output is higher than a few volts.
